Silver Lake County Park -- Salem Lakes, WI

Home of the NightCrawlers Trail Adventure.  Almost entirely wooded, you are able to escape on the over 10 miles of trails weaving the way up and down and throughout this park.  Once finished nothing like going for a swim in Silver Lake to refresh your body and spirit.

Bristol Woods County Park -- Bristol, WI

Home of the im Schnee festsitzen Trail Run & CaniCross and Boreas Trail Adventure & CaniCross.  With over 4 miles of heavily wooded trails with hills that are fun and challenging you will enjoy every step.

When Covid started effecting our traditional trail event locations, meaning we had to cancel as they were on public property our search of new trails on private property resulted in finding these amazing trails in Walworth and Kenosha Counties.

Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures, is home to several of our trail events and a personal favorite. The single track trails winding throughout the towering trees with evaluation changes that will challenge everyone! For just $5.00 or a small yearly fee, these trails are yours! Roughly 10 miles of trails.

SENO Conservancy, describing these trails like taking a trip to six different places all with a few miles on the over 5 miles of trails. Hills, pines, oaks, prairie, quiet, single track, double wide and is welcoming everyone.  We now host several event here and has become a favorite location for myself and others.

Alpine Valley Ski & Golf Resort and home to the some crazy fun and difficult single track mountain  trails. I would consider these trails the toughest 8 miles of trails in SE WI, if you need a little more then run up and down a few of the ski slopes to get the quads burning a little more! These trails would be my favorite trails in Walworth County. Run on them for the day for 42 or a season pass is $20. Yes, we have several events there each year!

FAVORITE TRAILS & ROUTES

KD County Park -- Twin Lakes, WI

This is home to the Hills Are Alive Trail Run & CaniCross, Trails Are Alive Night Adventure, Schneeflocke Trail Adventure.  This hill-n-dale course is as challenging at times as it is scenic.  I most enjoy running there in the summer as I can finish my run with a swim in the crystal clear lake within the park.

Petrifying Springs County -- Kenosha, WI

Long time favorite and location of Pike River Trail Run/Walk & CaniCross,  Hateya Trail Run & CaniCross and Coureur de bois Trail Run & Relay. There are about 15 miles of trails and you are also able to access the Kenosha County Bike Path from there as well.  Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course is located directly across the street from the park which is another favorite place to run.

Bong State Recreation Area -- Kansasville, WI

Home of the Wolfpack Trail Run & Relay and Trail Dog Distance Classic.  With over 40 miles of trails, you will be able to find the terrain that fits you best!  From open prairie to hilly wooded sections and great scenic beauty everywhere.  The Vern Wolfe Lake is a perfect start and finish location and all the trails are very well marked.

Gander Mountain Forest Preserve -- Fox Lake, IL

Another one of Brian's Secret Trails that serves up the toughest trail hill in NE IL and the highest point as well. Trails can be very overgrown in the summer but the Fall, Winter and early Spring are ideal.  Parking is limited to parking on the side of the road.
