Running Program for Adults

Ready to take the next step to get started, re-started or make improvements in your running?  

Let us assist you along the way!  With over 46 years of running experience and coaching youths and adults for the past 33 years, I have you covered.  Focuses generically: Running Form, Core Strength, Dynamic Warm Up, Range of Motion and then developing you to reach our running objectives.   

Join us for our 1st Group Running Program for Adults starting on March 16th, this “5” week program is limited to a class size of 10 and will be held outdoors at Kenosha Running Company, 1706 - 22nd Ave., Kenosha, WI 53140. I take a very laid back, fun and personal approach to our running programs.  We will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15pm to 6:45pm.  Class will be held outside.  

Agenda for each class:  

  • Dynamic Warm Up  
  • Stride Outs  
  • Light Stretching – Rolling Stick as needed  
  • Running-Cardio Session – could just be walking or run/walking – based on your individual fitness level  
  • Core Strengthening Drills/Exercises  
  • Stretching  

We will take short breaks as needed for hydration, etc.  All abilities and fitness levels are welcome.

Individual Coaching
After 47 years of running, competing on what I would call an average level in; track & field through my early 40's, triathlons on and off since 1983, countless 5Ks - 10Ks- half marathons and number of marathons and ultras over the years, I have experienced and learned!  Sometimes I had to learn more than once!!!

In addition to personal running, I have been coaching actively for the past 32 years, primarily at the high school level for cross country and track. I have also had extended coaching for adults wanting to do their first 5K, marathon and ultra. More recently I have been coaching soccer and lacrosse athletes that are wanting to improve agility, quick first step and overall speed. I also have developed a specialty in assisting with running form.

If you are looking for someone to assist you in your first (you name the distance), I can guide you through the journey.
You are looking to improve your time at some distance, I will get you faster.
You simply want to better understand all that is required to become the runner that lives inside you!

Fees for coaching services:

  • One month of coaching services, which includes; detailed workout schedule, initial meeting to evaluate range of motion, strength stability, running form and current level of fitness: $140.00 per month
  • One time session of 75-90 minutes: $50.00 
  • Schedule 4 - 60 minute sessions (which are typically 75 minutes): $30.00 each
